ΓÇó Memory is managed better, resulting in fewer ΓÇ£out of memoryΓÇ¥ messages.
ΓÇó Printing is faster and more reliable.
ΓÇó There is more memory available for application programs on computers that are not connected to a network (such as a PowerBook computer being used on the road).
ΓÇó Future occurrences of the ΓÇ£disappearing folders and filesΓÇ¥ problem are prevented. (This problem has affected only a few people; most System 7 users have never experienced it and donΓÇÖt need to be concerned about it.)
